"...if we be ruined for bravely resisting tyranny, what then be our fate should we submit?" Francis Marion
Columbia

I know—and I believe every American should and must know—about the individual responsibility and activism required to restore and maintain our freedoms. After all, it's largely the ignorance of those things that got us where we are now

Widespread apathy will translate to slavery...

...and it is up to each of us to take the measures necessary to avoid such a fate for us and our posterity. It is myongoing mission to do all that she can to encourage others to take up the proud mantle of "freedom fighter," and to provide each of those fighters with as much "ammunition" as I am able. I also wish to remind visitors here that

Liberty is inherent.

It is not granted by governments, but is yours by virtue of birth. The U.S. Constitution gives American citizens no freedoms. Rather, it guarantees that the government will not interfere with its citizens' birthright.

Despite Constitutional guarantees...

...our liberties have been eroding, slowly but surely, over the course of the years. Our freedoms can only be maintained—and lost freedoms restored—by virtue of activism. By this, I mean by calling and writing to your legislators. I mean accepting the obligation to be an informed voter capable of voting intelligently and for the candidate you believe will stay true to his or her oath to uphold the Constitution, and then voting for another candidate in the next election if this year's politician refuses or fails to support freedom. We must all work to ensure American citizens are properly educated as to their heritage of liberty, and their responsibilities under such freedom because such knowledge will further freedom. We should march with those of like mind, and engage, when necessary, in acts of civil disobedience. And always, always we must "walk the walk." Our forefathers won their fight against tyranny. We can only hope that we will win our fight against an even more insideous enemy: apathy.
