R.A. Hawkins
Richard Hawkins was born in Aurora, Colorado and grew up in Littleton, Colorado in a quiet little neighborhood nobody has ever heard of called Columbine Knolls. He has been married to the same woman for twenty-six years, and worked for the same aerospace company for twenty-eight. His primary interests over the years have been his family, sociology, mastering his survival skills, windsurfing, music, politics, raising wolves, art of all types, mycology, perma-culture, archeological anomalies, geo-politics and staying gainfully employed; not necessarily in that order. He often describes himself as a separate subspecies of human – ‘Eclecticus-Iconoclastimus’. His primary driving force is his unwavering belief that as sovereign citizens we are each responsible not only for our own beliefs and actions, but where those beliefs and actions take us in life: That the truly intelligent person learns to determine what the consequences might be for our beliefs and actions and then acts accordingly. Our individual actions always affect far more than we can imagine. R.A. Hawkins is the author of "Through Eyes of Shiva," available via Amazon.com. The Party Of The Poor?
(A Matter Of Warped Perspectives)

George Soros is once again out to prove what he always proves so well: “A stopped clock is right twice a day.” He is working with the United Nations to remove firearms from us law-abiding United States citizens. In case you’re wondering what I meant when I said he is right like a stopped clock, he backed campaign finance reform and spent a fair amount of money to make it happen. The end result was the McCain (and Able)/ Feingold Bill. He spent around eighteen million to achieve that lofty goal. He then decided that he wanted to remove Bush since he actually had the unmitigated audacity to mean what he said and to do it in Iraq. It seems that Mr. Soros thinks that Bush should have pushed the United Nations to send more scathing letters to Saddam to show how serious they all were about getting extra really serious.

In the world of George Soros, a better Iraq is the Iraq Saddam had created as his sons picked girls to rape at the local market and as the people of Iraq starved while Saddam purchased allies such as France, Germany, Russia and China with the food-for-oil program money. The specific reason Soros said he went after Bush (and I believe he lied) was because Soros claimed that Bush was a tyrant and that he was anti-tyrant. You can see that Soros is really of the opinion that tyrants are okay as long as they stay in line with his thinking. The Democrat line of thinking for foreign policy is to keep the tyrants in power because they are so much easier to handle than a real government with checks and balances. However, tyrants fare poorly when they have to deal with a well-armed populace and that is something that doesn’t sit very well with the likes of Soros. Since Bush isn’t really a tyrant (except in the minds of the weak) he has no problem with a well-armed populace.

Now that Soros has decided to go after the firearms of the law-abiding citizens in the United States, I think I have him figured out. I think that he, like Ted Turner, may very well be from an alternate reality. They seem to come from a place where it makes sense to back campaign finance reform and to then to go against it at the same time. Soros spent a fortune on his 527 organizations as he tried to oust President Bush. All of this goes counter what he originally said he believed regarding campaign finance. To many who are inclined to believe my theory that these people come from some alternate reality I have to suggest a much more likely possibility. They may simply be idiots.

When Ted Turner merged CNN with Time Warner, he said that he hadn’t been this excited since the first time he had sex. That was of course before the Board of Directors had their way with him. At least he found out what his first girl (I’m assuming here) felt like that first time. Then we have Soros who has blown tons of money on lost causes that are in opposition to each other. I have no doubt that I’ll get a lot of email from people telling me that they’re actually geniuses. Before you hit that send button though, let me tell you in simple terms: You see a genius, and I see an inept boob desperately seeking validation from the proud proletariat whose lives he wants to run.

There is another possibility however. That is that they are actually pro-dictatorial regime. History is littered with a large collection of nutcases that thought they knew what the masses really needed and wanted. I wouldn’t want to deny either one of these clowns their day in the slime-light. They earned it. They both shafted a lot of little people to rise to the levels where they are now sitting. They have earned this right just as much as Saddam and Stalin did. Let them have their day in history. Let them not be forgotten for what they really are.

Quite a few people actually believe that people like Soros and Turner don’t understand what the Second Amendment is all about. They know exactly what it’s all about. It has nothing to do with hunting for food, and everything to do with the population being able to defend itself from people like them who tend to buy politicians. It has more to do with prevention than actual killing, but if push comes to shove it has to do with killing people, not food and if it isn’t watered down it has the power to prevent that same killing.  As Thomas Jefferson said “The real beauty of the Second Amendment is that it is absolutely meaningless until they try to take it away.”

Jonathan David Morris:
2004: The Year In Headlines

Much of what you’re about to read is true—except for the parts I made up. These are the Top Ten Stories of 2004. Read ‘em and weep. Happy New Year.

10. James “You Think He’s Gay?” McGreevey goes gay.

Caught handing out a Homeland Security post in exchange for homosexual services, Jim McGreevey announces in August he will resign as governor of the State of New Jersey. “The bad news is I’m a gay adulterer with no business being in office,” says McGreevey. “The good news is this was only a test of the Homeland Security Color-Coded Alert System. Turns out I’m the whole freakin’ rainbow. Zing! Thank you. Thank you very much. Enjoy the veal, folks. I’ll be here every night 'tilNovember.” Though the comedy is lost on his constituents, McGreevey declares his resignation, quote, “a fabulous success.”

9. Howard Dean advances to Geography Bee quarterfinals.

After finishing third in the Iowa Caucuses in January, presidential candidate Howard Dean wows audiences by holding an envelope to his forehead and predicting 13 states in which he will also post losses: New Hampshire; South Carolina; Oklahoma; Arizona; North Dakota; New Mexico; California; Texas; New York; South Dakota; Oregon; Washington; and Michigan. He then goes to D.C. to “take back the White House,” but is turned away when bouncers accuse him of having a fake ID.

8. After several requests, Martha Stewart goes to Hell.

Realizing its charges of insider trading are baseless, the government accuses domestic diva Martha Stewart of lying about not breaking the law. When Stewart wonders aloud how this is possible, the government responds: “Oh, so now we’re the liars? Huh? Is that what you’re saying? We’re the liars now?” The judge then sends Stewart to prison for “being such a bitch.” She begins her five-month sentence in October. Before long, she makes shivs out of hatred and toilet paper.

7. Boston enters a state of perpetual World Series victory.

Before spring training, Red Sox centerfielder Johnny Damon visits Mt. Sinai to speak with God. God informs him that, in 2005, the Red Sox will face the Cubs in the World Series; and then, when they’re one out from winning the 7th game, God will pull the plug on all of existence, thus sealing Boston’s fate forever and ever, amen. Johnny Damon returns and informs his teammates of God’s plan, saying: “We must take matters into our own hands, and not next year but this year, if we want to win.” His teammates stop shaving and combing their hair, then battle back from an 0-3 hole against God’s Chosen Team, the Yankees, in the ALCS. Then they sweep the Cards in the Series and win their first championship since before the dawn of time. Afterwards, Johnny Damon admits he never really spoke with God: “I was visiting my Aunt Carol that weekend. I just said all that God stuff to motivate my team.” He is later fined by Major League Baseball and taught a valuable lesson about telling lies.

6. Nine-Eleven Commission tells us something we don’t know.

In April, Washington gets together and writes a book about September 11th. It is released a few months later and sold on the fiction aisle at Target. After slow initial sales, its name is changed from “The 9/11 Commission Report” to “Tuesdays With Morrie, Part 2: Wednesdays With Morrie.” It hits the bestseller list. However, readers question its central assertion that terrorists had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks—that it was, indeed, the butler who did it. And while they appreciate learning why George Bush and Dick Cheney insisted on testifying together (turns out they were handcuffed and couldn’t find the key), Americans start to wonder why, if they spent millions on a 9/11 panel, Morrie isn’t mentioned anywhere in the book. It is concluded that if the country wants “real” leadership next time, it should appoint Patrick Ewing instead.

5. “The Passion” hits theaters; Jews still exist.

In a surprising twist on the old anti-Semitic yarn, Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” ignites Christian passions but fails to ignite mass murder of Jews. When asked by Access Hollywood’s Pat O’Brien why things haven’t unfolded in accordance with the media prophecy, Jesus Christ responds: “Look, if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: Thou shalt not kill. All right? It’s a peaceful religion. What do I have to do, walk on water just to get through to you people? Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean ‘you people.’ I… never mind. I have to go.” Mel Gibson later admits it was not the real Jesus Christ, but rather Jim Caviezel in a Jesus Christ costume. The point, however, stays the same.

4. “Co-Ed Naked Freedom” all the rage in free Iraq.

In a move that sends shivers down the spines of America’s enemies, soldiers at Abu Ghraib prison strip Iraqi detainees, put hoods on their heads, and force ‘em to do naughty things with their groins and electric shock therapy, while a pregnant chick with a cigarette looks on. “Americans smoke cigarettes while pregnant!” read the headlines. America hangs its head in shame.

3. Patriots win the Super Bowl.

Justin Timberlake rips off a part of Janet Jackson’s shirt during the Super Bowl halftime show to reveal the most disappointing celebrity breast in American history (adorned, no less, with a ninja star). A furious NFL announces the next day that, from now on, all Super Bowl halftime shows will be replaced with Roz-era reruns of “Night Court.” FCC fines ensue.

2. It’s morning again in America… again.

In June, former actor—oh, and president—Ronald Reagan passes away after a long, private battle with Alzheimer’s. Americans reminisce about simpler times when girls were girls, men were men, and our enemies wore fuzzy black hats. Things take a turn for the worse, however, when ‘80s icon Steve Guttenberg shows up claiming he’s next in the line of succession. When told, “No, sir, Reagan hasn’t been president since 1989; and besides, you were never in the line of succession,” Guttenberg puts on a pair of Z. Cavariccis and insists on a game of Jenga. He then checks his watch and crawls back into his cicada-like hole.

1. Democracy comes in peace.

In November, an alien life form named Georgebush Johnkerry descends upon Earth and splits into two distinct, sentient beings—each well versed in the Vietnam War. It then runs for president and wins. Sentient Being No. 1, who goes by the name “George Bush” to fool the locals, earns the right to occupy the White House, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Moon. Meanwhile, Sentient Being No. 2, or “John Kerry,” finds himself out of work—save for a part-time Senate gig. He takes a job as a busboy at Olive Garden, where he rails against management and talks of regime change. Freedom subsequently rings.

Tsunami Victims Benefit Most from US Citizenry

The intention of the framers of the U.S. Constitution was to create a strong federal government, limited in authority by specific enumerated powers divided among three separate branches of government providing a built-in system of checks and balances. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the people authorized the government to tax and spend their hard earned dollars on whatever the government deems is best for the country. No, their authority was to be concerned with things such as treaties with foreign governments, providing for the defense for our citizens, protecting the citizens’ rights to life, liberty, and property...and other stuff like that.

So it continually amazes me when the citizenry of this country act on the belief that the government should collect roughly 1/3 of our paychecks to spend on that which often doesn't concern the laborer from which the taxed income is dependent, or which could be better taken care of by the citizenry themselves. There were two glaring examples of this in the news today, one of which is the emergency aid being allocated to the victims of the tsunami, and other which has to do with the insolvency of the United Airlines pension fund.

To think that the President of the United States was called stingy because of the amount of money he initially pledged to the tsunami victims on behalf of our country is unconscionable. He showed great fiscal restraint by giving a figure of 15 million dollars, knowing full well that money would be forthcoming through the thousands of private contributions from individuals and businesses across the United States. And what better way is there to get something accomplished quickly and efficiently but through private capitalistic enterprise? Thousands of people have already donated millions of dollars and goods to the cause.

One person, John Hewitt, caught my attention because he plans to give at least $250,000 in aid to the victims. His plan is to donate by giving a non specified amount to the Stop Hunger Now charity for every tax return his Liberty Tax Service firm completes. The CEC of Pew Charitable Trusts believes that if the private sector of every major city could donate $50-$70 million, it would help prevent starvation, disease and homelessness for the survivors of this unforeseen disaster.

This isn't surprising though. The Washington Times recently reported that our government was ranked 22nd in foreign aid but that private philanthropy is thriving. "American private charities are set to spend more than $200 billion this year, and more than half of U.S. adults will work on volunteer projects, putting in an estimated 20 billion hours in donated time. One study by the Washington-based Philanthropy Roundtable found that the average American household contributes seven times as much to charity as its German counterpart, and Americans are six times more likely than Germans to do volunteer work."

This serves to prove the point that it's best to use the government as a last resort to effect change, something that the framers of our Constitution understood only too well. It's always best to use the resources of private citizenry first. The concept of limited government is not only more efficient, it is much more respectful of the rights of each citizen. Wouldn't you rather choose the beneficiaries of any money that you decide you can afford to contribute to charity?

The other news item which left me reeling from disbelief was about how the U.S. pension insurance agency plans to assume responsibility for an underfunded pension plan for pilots at bankrupt United Airlines. The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. wants to take on $1.4 billion in pension payments, meaning "taxpayers will be picking up roughly half the cost of the pilots' plan." The Pension Benefit Guarantee Corp. already has a deficit of $23 billion. Airline claims account for 20 percent of their total claims.

Now, am I to understand that my hard earned money not only goes to Social Security—which I will likely never see—but is also used to bail out pension plans for employees in industries, who are not even required to contribute to private retirement plans through their company, but choose to do so knowing full well it's their responsibility, not that of the government?

The last I heard, we lived in a free country and our government was supposed to protect our property rights. When did our Constitution become socialist? I don't remember voting on that, do you?

Dire times for United pilots' pensions
Federal agency petitions to take over $1.4 billion in costs

Rush of donations from USA is immediate and immense

America enjoys view from the top

SARTRE Encore Presentation from 09-29-02
Courting disaster, as the kingdom declines

"Oh, England!
Sick in head and sick in heart,
Sick in whole and every part:
And yet sicker thou art still
For thinking that thou art not ill."

Anonymous (before 1675), England

Having made eight prolonged visits over the last dozen years to the British Isles, a pattern of cultural decline becomes more evident. The symbols of tradition remain visible for tourists and history still speaks loud to those who revere its message, but English society is in crisis.

The recent record post War demonstration of over 400,000, mostly rural folks to Whitehall was characterized as a rally in support of fox hunting. Fleet Street's sensationalism would have you believe that 'blood sport' is the issue. What is being kept from the public is the nature of the fundamental struggle that is evident to even the casual observer. Rural life is under attack! The differences between the "City" and the rest of urban London from the Devon and Cornwall countryside are even more stark than that of Manhattan from our own Western New York region.

The punitive tax liabilities of the UK hit the residents of the rural districts harder than the toll taken by the feudal lord from the serfs on the manor. But England is a land that has evolved into a regimented society that accepts the queue as the price of civil conduct. The spirit of a nation of shopkeepers is now void of Englishmen. Only the immigrants from the Empire do the work while the bloodline of the tradition wait for their share of the dole. The remnants of Brit Grit that marched on 10 Downing Street were organized to be polite, who's intent was to register the record tally. They say "sort it out" is a stable of conduct. But the idea that the powers that rule the country has any intention to correct the inequities is as absurd as the cheery attitude that all is lovely . . .

The rudimentary conflict between the interests that dominate the urban society and the citizens that seek to live a traditional life with peace and dignity in a rustic community, is inescapable. The effects of multiculturalism has destroyed the fabric of more than the use of the English languange. The values of freedom and liberty are absent within a 'so called' cosmopolitan society that resembles the untouchable slums of the sub continent. Attire that once reflected refined self respect has been traded for tatoos, multicolored hair and nose piecing. While appearance does not necesarily make a civilization, values and dreams mold a culture. When foreign landlords exalt their over priced fire trap apartments as safe, because the street has total CCTV monitoring cameras, one must question the quality of life that currently remains in the metropolitan envirnoment.

So why are the protectors of the empire so bent upon the disillusion of the nation's character, while they encourage its replacement with a deteriorating nightmare of cultural turmoil? Most of the demonstrators want control of local decisions back into their own hands. That was the real purpose of the march. But the gatekeepers of the NWO have a very different purpose. Destruction of the traditional English values system is part of their ultimate plan to subjugate and extend their political control over ever facet of British society.

The mindless format and content of the BBC has declined to such an extent that Jerry Springer would be considered tame. The affinity for grotesque gore and bloody violence as a stable in their most popular programs, makes the fox hunt an exercise in compassion. The newest entry is Ultimate Force - the saga of the SAS as a noble protector of the Crown against the evil anti globalists. Remember there is no posse comitatus protection in England. The military are the police force of final resort. Square this mental assault with the next demonstration, a week later, that took place against the Blair Iraq War policy. Not nearly as many activists as those riding in on the coach buses from the countryside. But those who appealed to their own government to abandon support for military intervention that only serves the interests of the masters of the world community, are ignored and ridiculed.

Opinion polls clearly show that Brits are warry of Blair's Middle East policy. But this concern has as much chance of reversing foreign policy as the rural communities have of restoring local rule over community issues. The elites rule with disdain over citizens who are treated as mere subjects. The forces of control seek to delude the national culture into a cesspool of alien barbarism. They has succeeded greatly over the years of my visits.

While the cranes of new construction dot the cityscape along the Thames and robust commerce entends the reach of the designers of public policy, is it any wonder that the seeds of terriorism grow within the UK? Her own people are treated as pawns in a sick game of unbriddled immigrantion. Her politicians make no attempt to represent the interests of their constituents. And the underlying dispair of the loss of self determination is masked with false smiles and words of 'fab', 'fantastic' and that old standby - 'brilliant'.

RIGHT !!! The Brits continually say "Sorry" . . . Well, I'm sad for them; not because their is anything they need to be sorry for, unless it is their resignation to accept tyranny. The overwhelmning public acceptance of establishing a national DNA database that moves to collect samples from everyone, is the culmination of serfdom mentality. Only the active promotion of having tracking devices implanted into children, and their endorsement by parents, is more insidious.

Those visits over the last dozen years are a short time span when viewed within their history. But we have witnessed that England has declined measurably in values and spirit, while the forces of self destruction grow. If not understood directly, it is hidden within the subconscious of the rural demonstrators that their country is evaporating before their eyes. Courteous marchers change little. The powers of today are as arrogant as was King Charles I. The Brits are in need of a modern day Oliver Cromwell. The poem rings true today just as much when written. The question for those remaining Englishmen, when will you "give it a go" ? Take back the power that is yours.
