This Week
January 26 News headlines have been updated! And as many of you already know, those headlines are separated into three categories: Good news, bad news, and "for your information." I bring this up now because in all the time I've been sorting and posting stories and comments, I can't recall a time I've seen more marked as "Bad News" where our Constitution and Bill of Rights is concerned than now. Take a look at the stories and see for yourself the rapid and very visible erosion of liberty ongoing. And then, for the sake of your country, your children, and your freedom, stand up and do whatever you can to play a role in curbing and reversing these tyrannical incursions!
January 25 There's a new Action Alert that needs your attention as well as an update to another recent Alert that only increases the urgency of the situation. News headlines have been updated, too. Remember what Thomas Jefferson said: "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty."
January 24 Heads up, censorship opponents! Take note if you value national sovereignty! News headlines today represent broad threats to both. Learn more, and then take action... while you still can.
January 22 New commentary is up! And this week, "It's Personal!" Been thinking about the 2012 elections? I suspect it's crossed just about everybody's mind by now! But there's some question as to yet another apparently unconstitutional act by the Obama administration that will have a direct impact on those elctions. Read more about how the US Census has been "rigged" to benefit Democrats.
I've been trying to check off movies on my list prior to the Academy Awards as well, and managed to get two more in this weekend. See the Movie Reviews page for more.
Oh, and whatever you do, don't miss this week's Tweets of the Week!

...and finally, this isn't from twitter but is rather a comment posted on a story at zerohedge.com. I just loved this handy dandy voting list too much not to include it here:
Freddie: "If you have to choose for POTUS it would be Ron Paul then Santorum (better than Mitt or Newt), then Romney (gag) and then anyone else followed by Newt then Satan followed by Obama."
Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty!
There's a lot going on in Washington and elsewhere these days, and almost none of it is good. Vigilance has never been more critical, and our failure to take actions as warranted will almost certainly never have more lasting and detrimental consequences. We are now quite literally at a crossroads in the life of this country. If we turn one direction, we can retain and restore freedom; if we turn the other, we will lose liberty, almost certainly forever. Which road will you take?
Why act? Why now?
Perhaps history has seen darker days, but in several generations, we have not. We face an activist judiciary inclined to re-interpret rather than interpret the Constitution, and so re-write law. We have a president who all too often disregards the Constitution altogether. We see the nationalization of industry and the financial sector, overregulation all too often intended to stymie growth and increase government dependence, and the socialism of healthcare (despite denials, we all know better, don't we?). We see unprecedented government growth which will almost certainly result in unprecedented tax burdens some of which are already imminent thanks to "Obamacare." And there's worse...
If I'm lucky, by what I do here I might help to preserve liberty. And if I'm not, I will at least go down fighting. I humbly ask that you join me in those endeavors. The worst thing that we could possibly do is nothing...
